Former Coventry City youngster Martin Devaney has taken up a coaching job with Barnsley's Academy.
Devaney was released by City in 1999 without making it to the first team but being a reserve team regular and had six years at Barnsley before making appearances for MK Dons, Walsall, Tranmere in 2012, Kidderminster and Hyde.
Devaney issued the following tweet about his appointment at Oakwell: "Yes great to be back. Coaching at the academy!!"
