Coventry City Captain Carl Baker has praised the City supporters who supported the players during the three matches in Germany and Holland.

Twenty one City supporters including Dutch and German based fans saw City beat TSV Wachtendonk 6-0 in Germany, with fifteen making into the clandestine game against Willem II where it was only announced that City supporters would be admitted less than two hours before kick off, and around thirty seeing the 1-1 draw against Hercules Amelo in Tubbergen on Saturday.

Baker who scored in two out of the three games, told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: "It was fantastic to be able to mingle with the fans out in Holland, some of whom went to all three games, so it's nice  for them to come on the pitch and meet the lads, get photograph's and autographs and have a chat with us.

"I think it is important that you have a good relationship with the fans because they are obviously the most important part of the club."
