Baker, the former Coventry City captain, played for MK Dons in a 4-1 PDL League Cup win at Cambridge United and will be in contention for a place in the first team squad for the game at Yeovil Town on Saturday
The Scouser was delighted to be back playing and wrote on his Facebook page: "Great to play 60 mins today first game since the end of last season. An always pleasing when it's a 4-1 win."
