Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has confirmed that Baily Cargill's time at the Sky Blues is over.

Cargill was on loan for the rest of the season from AFC Bournemouth but has returned to the Cherries for treatment after suffering ankle ligament damage during the defeat to Rochdale.

Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph, Mowbray said: “Baily Cargill looks as if he’s finished for the season for us.

“We should move on without Baily at this time. He’s back at Bournemouth being treated for a bad ankle ligament damage. It’s almost the curse of the left-sided centre-half."
