Away Win Will Come - Thorn

Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has said he is sure that City’s first away league win of the season will come.

City have not won away from the Ricoh Arena this season, but have drawn their last two away matches at Watford and Cardiff.

Speaking to the CT’s Andy Turner, Thorn said: “We’ve been knocking at the door in the last couple of away games and as long as we are knocking on the door again and keep picking up points away I am sure that win will come.

“We have got to keep the players lively and positive. We are in there fighting and we’ll keep getting the team ready to do the club justice on the day.

“We could stay up on home form alone but it would be nice to get one away to help us and I am sure we will get it.

“If we get three points tomorrow it will really put the cat amongst the pigeons, especially with the big games we have got to come after that against teams around us.

“So we’ll be going there with an intention and hopefully it will come off. They may not be scoring many up there but they don’t let many in either, so it will be a tight game.”
