Coventry City supporter Joe Elliott has been recognised for forty years service to the motor industry.
The former City Associate Director, Chairman and Life President was recently awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Car & Accessory Trader Magazine at a ceremony at the Twickenham Rugby Stadium.
The Coventrian (pictured above right) ran the successful Elliotts Car Accessories chain of outlets before selling the business seven years ago and he was involved with the setting up of what is known as A1 Motor Stores which have over three hundreds branches across the country.
