Attention Turns Again To McSheffrey

Coventry City have today been linked with Gary McSheffrey.

After being priced out of a bid for Andrew Driver, City have switched their search for widemen elsewhere and McSheffrey, who is admired by Chris Coleman and would be wanted by Ray Ranson as a player to put bums on seats at the Ricoh Arena, seems to fit the bill.

McSheffrey has another year left on his contract at Birmingham City and the former City striker has had an operation at a clinic in East London on his knee after this forced him to cut short a loan at Nottingham Forest but should be fit for pre-season.

Forest and Crystal Palace are also interested in McSheffrey whom, media reports claims, has been told that he has no future at Birmingham City.
