Ashley Jackson At The Double

Defender Ashley Jackson was a double award winner at the Coventry Sphinx Annual Awards evening at the club's HQ at Sphinx Drive tonight.

Keeper Carl O'Neill was named the Sphinx Supporters Player Of The Year whilst Jack Edwards took the Young Player Of The Year Award.

Forward Luke Williams was crowned as top goalscorer.

There was double delight for Ashley Jackson who was named the Most Improved Player and the Players' Player.

Danny McSheffrey in one of his final roles as Sphinx Manager, presented the Managers Award to Carl O'Neill. McSheffrey and his assistant Lee Knibbs who is also stepping down were thanked for their efforts on behalf of the club.

Lynton Wilkinson was deservedly named Coventry Sphinx Club Man Of The Year.

The Coventry Sphinx Paul Gibbons Award went to Secretary Jackie McGowan.
