Coventry City failed to maintain their unbeaten run as a strong travelling county side took advantage of the home side's wastefullness.

The Sky Blues had the better of a frantic opening thirty minutes going close twice but the visiting side also had chances with Zoko going close. Despite, City's pressure, Boucaud scored a long range effort late in the first half.

After half time, Coventry tried to push forward but County always appeared to have more attacking threat.

Robins attempted to change the game by making subs but this just showed the lack of depth in the Sky Blue squad.

With 12 minutes of normal time left, the County manager made it harder for his side when he put on Hughes. This sparked chants, boos and shouts from the home fans.

After this, Coventry appeared more spurred on but a curled shot from Arquin gave County a seemingly sure win. However, Wood gave Coventry some hope before several long range efforts but this could not stop an inevitable home loss.
