Coventry City midfielder and likely stand in right back Aron Gunnarsson has said that he is looking forward to playing against Reading's Icelandic duo of Brynar Gunnarsson and Ivar Ingimarsson when City face Reading in a Championship game at the Madejski Stadium at 8pm tonight.

"I know two of their players, Brynjar Gunnarsson and Ivar Ingimarsson, and it is a big club and it will definitely be a hard game for us, but we have been doing well away from home and in front of the Sky cameras, so hopefully we will do OK." said Gunnarsson, who is becoming known amongst the City players for his sense of humour, to the CT.

"I like the TV games. I have to do my hair before the game, that's for sure, but seriously I don't really think about it when I am on the pitch.

"It is nice because my family can watch me because they can pick it up in Iceland, and it is always nice to hear from my two brothers after the game.

"Brynjar plays in the same position as me and when he is selected for the national team I am usually on the bench because he is older than me at 33.

"He is a big name in Iceland and has been doing really well for our country so I couldn't say anything when I was sub.

"We are very similar but he is getting old and can't run, but he is smart and very clever on the ball, and we have to be aware of that.

And Ivar is a big solid defender - just a Viking! He's hard to beat and the best way to get through is to get in behind him because sometimes he makes big mistakes.

"It will be very competitive between me and Brynjar if we are up against each other in the midfield, like I did when I played against Joey Gudjonsson against Burnley and I got him to the floor and he was almost crying.

"I want to take Brynjar's place in the national team but I am seen as more of one for the future and I can't say anything bad about him.

"I don't have any contact with the two of them over here. If I had his number I would send him a text telling him that I will kick him!

"He's probably a bit scared of me because I am nuts in the training sessions with the national team.

"It is always nice to play against your national team-mates and I have always looked up to him. He is a big star in Iceland and I can definitely learn from him."
