According to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner, Coventry City will not be allowed to play Adam Armstrong in the FA Cup First Round tie against Northampton Town on Saturday.
Armstrong, the top scorer in all four divisions with twelve goals, was not permitted to play in the League Cup for City by his parent club Newcastle United and now it would seem that The Geordies don't want him cup-tied by appearing for City in the first round of the competition.
