The proposed Arena railway station has got an amber light backing off the new Minister of the Railways.

Tom Harris even went as far as saying he would open it at a meeting which included two of the City's MP's and top level Coventry City Councillors.

Mr Harris also gave permission for for talks with private companies interested in helping to pay towards the £1.5m needed for the station.
It is hoped that an half hourly service would run on the Coventry to Nuneaton line which would also link up with Bermuda Park plus Kenilworth and Leamington.
