Arena To Stage Boxing

Plans have been announced to stage a high class boxing tournament at the Arena.

Local promoter and famed "hard man" Kev Houston is trying to organise an international fight night dubbed "The Queens Cup" in November. The night will consist of a four course dinner,live music as well as Coventry based boxers such as Steve Bendall and Neil Simpson taking on fighters fron Japan,Thailand,Tanzania,South Africa,Mongolia and Uganda in an international event.

City supporting Neil Simpson and Steve Bendall will be in action tomorrow night at the Sky Dome in bouts organised by Shakespeare Promotions. Andy Halder is also in action for the evening which starts at 7.30pm.
