Supporters were due to be consulted on the price of the tickets and allowed to vote on what they thought was a fair price,but nothing has been forthcoming.
Coming in the build up to Christmas and with supporters having to pay for away matches and FA Cup tickets in a short space of time, the announcement is unwise to say the least.
Said one supporter: "Again,another chance for the club and supporters to work together has been wasted with the lack of general consultation over the prices.
"If the club and the arena owners want our support, the least they can do is work with us and ask every Coventry supporter their views.
"They have already fallen flat on their faces trying to charge £50 to reserve a seat and are likely to do the same if they announce prices at a time when all of us have other things to pay for."
