The problematic PA system at the Arena is being dismantled and replaced. Hayden Young & Arup, sub contractors to Laing O'Rourke are to have the work completed by the endof this month.

Three shelters are to be built outside the Arena for supporters to have a smoke at half-time. Away supporters seemed to have been ingnored as these shelters will be for City supporters only when the smoking ban comes in on July 1st.

Under new legislation, Coventry City Council are to produce a Traffic Management plan for the Arena. This is likely to include supporters travelling from town not having to go all the way up to the Mt6 junction and turning round to come back to the ground as happened for the West Brom game in April.

In order to elleviate the problems for disabled supporters who cannot reach to place their season ticket/flexicard on the reader at the turnstiles, some of the readers will be lowered. Also gate stewards will have portable swipe readers to help those not going through the turnstiles.

Coventry City Council seem hopeful that a railway station will be built at the Arena. The matter of a much needed station is to be looked at by the Government's Department of Transport.
