Another Clean Sheet - Robins

Coventry City manager Mark Robins said that it was another clean sheet as the Sky Blues drew 0-0 in the Nuneaton Tournament with Liverpool U23's.

Mark Robins told the club website: “It was another clean sheet for us as we go into the final week without any injuries, that is how I view it.

“We had some decent passages of play in the first half and some decent passages of play in the second half also.

“We certainly were not clinical enough but it is another 90 minutes under our belts against a team who are from the Premier League and play a different way to what we are used to.

“I think that from our point of view we allowed the game to be too slow. For me it was a monotonous game and we did not get to grips with them early enough.

“When we did get to grips with them however, we played some decent stuff and we got down the sides of them fairly regularly.''
