Another Coventry City supporter has been killed serving his country in Afghanistan.

Fusillier Shaun Bush from Stoke Aldermoor of the 2nd Battalion of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, died in Selly Oak hospital on Tuesday from injuries sustained whilst trying to save fellow City supporter Sgt Simon Valentine following an explosion, ten days earlier.

All at Covsupport News Service send their condolences to the family and friends of Shaun.

Kev Monks said: "I used to see Shaun a lot at City matches and alhough I only knew him to say alright to, it is an awful that we will never see him at a match again.

"Some Premiership footballers may seem themselves as heroes but the real heroes are people like Shaun, who died trying to save a fellow City supporter."

Coventry City Chairman Ray Ranson said: "Everyone at Coventry City is saddened of Fusilier Shaun Bush, who was a keen Sky Blues fan. Our thoughts and best wishes go to his family, friends and colleagues as it does for all those connected to forces personnel who have lost their lives in current conflicts.

"Fusilier Bush is the fourth soldier the Coventry area has lost in recent days. We marked the death of the Louis Carter, James Fullarton and Simon Valentine at our last game and we are planning to do the same for Shaun when we next play at the Ricoh Arena against Bristol City on September 12th"
