Another Busy Weekend

On Saturday morning, City U18's are at home to Reading. Kick Off at the Alan Higgs Centre is at 11.30am. Then at 3pm,City face Sheffield Wednesday at home at the Arena.

On Sunday,David McNamee and Jay Tabb will be part of the switch on of the Christmas Lights in Coventry City centre. The duo will be in Broadgate at 3.45pm. There will be two seperate light switching ceremonies. Both lights will go on at 5pm with the ones at Millennium Place being switched on by the model Jordan and her husband Pete Andre. In Broadgate,the Deputy Lord Mayor will do the honours. Both events start at 3pm.

On Monday night, Two Tone legend Jerry Dammers celebrates his honorary degree from Coventry University by djing a set at the Dogma in Fairfax Street at 8pm. The set is part of the National Love Music Hate Racism campaign.

Jerry will be dejaying a selection of Jamaican influenced music from the 60's to the jungle and dubsters of today (with a little Two Tone thrown in). The evening will begin with a screening of the film "Who Shot the Sheriff", a history of Rock Against Racism made by fire-fighter and self-taught film maker Alan Miles.
