Coventry City MD Chris Anderson has said that Otium Entertainment Group who are running Coventry City FC are committed to maintaining the club's Academy 2 status.
The underfire MD wrote in his programme notes for the game against Shrewsbury Town: "I'd like to reiterate that the Board are explicit in their committment in maintaining a Category 2 status for the Academy at this club and hold the preservation of the Academy in the highest regard.
"We will do everything we can to sustain our Academy as we see it as the foundation of our football club."
