Coventry City Executive Vice Chairman & Managing Director Chris Anderson has said that negotiations are underway to keep the Coventry City Academy at the Alan Higgs Centre.
The lease expires in 2017 and City need the facility in order to keep their Category Two status and speaking about this in his programme notes for the game against Sheffield United, Mr Anderson wrote: "Please know that we are doing everything we can to make sure the Academy contiinues to have a good home and extend the lease and secure the Academy's future.
"I have been in discussion with the Coventry Sports Foundation who operate the Alan Higgs Centre and we hope to achieve an extension for that lease before too long."
