Coventry City’s MD Tim Fisher has said that Gary Ambrose stepped down as Financial Director due to personal reasons but he was not helped by having to commute from the North West.
Speaking to the CT, Mr Fisher said: “Gary has left us for personal reasons.
"He was commuting to the club from his home in the North West of England and decided this was not sustainable in the longer term.
"We fully respect Gary's decision and would like to place on record our thanks for his work for CCFC.
"We will be looking to recruit a replacement. “
