Allsop Back To Bournemouth

Ryan Allsop has returned to AFC Bournemouth after his loan at Coventry City finished.

The goalkeeper took his time to find his form with the Sky Blues but after being dropped, Allsop came in for the suspended Lee Burge and never looked back, playing some decent games for City.

Allsop has no idea what his future holds and told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner:  “I think it has been good for me to play games at Coventry, to help me progress.

“Obviously I am still a young goalkeeper and still learning the game but at the same time I think I need to go back to Bournemouth and try to progress there.

“They are doing really well at the moment and I think I need to get in under the manager’s nose there and try to show him what I can do. I am out of contract in the summer so I’ve got six months left to show him how I have progressed.

“I spoke to Steve Ogrizovic and numerous people to get their advice about what’s the best thing for me to do. It’s been a tough decision and I haven’t made it lightly, but I think it’s the best thing for me at this moment in time.”
