The Ricoh Arena passed a massive test tonight with the staging of the England U21 game with Germany. All 30,919 spectators - a new stadium record got into the ground before kick off and there were no problems reported before,during or after the game.

England won the match 1-0 with a stunning twenty eight yard strike from Wigan Athletic's Leighton Baines in the 76th minute and travel to Leverkusen for the second leg on Tuesday.
