Reise Allassini has said that it was his decision to go out on loan from Coventry City.

The mdifielder/forward had done well for City U23's but was not getting much first team action and decided that he needed to go out on loan in order to get more game time.

Speaking about his loan to Ebbsfleet United, Allassini told the Kent Messenger: "We had maybe 12 attackers and it was hard for me to get in the side.

"I got a few substitute appearances and then I was back out so it's tough.

"I spoke to my agent and said 'look, I think it's best if I go on loan because I'm not getting much game time at Coventry.'

"He came back to me within a few days saying Ebbsfleet had shown interest and I saw they did really well in the league last season so I thought it would be a good fit.

"I spoke to the manager, liked what his plans were and thought it would a good move for me."

Allassini played for Ebbsfleet away to Dagenham & Redbridge and was applauded off by both sets of supporters for his performance during the game.
