Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Cork said: "We had some good results before the international break so hopefully we can go to Hillsborough and put in a performance.
"Sheffield Wednesday is a massive club with a massive stadium but if we can go down there and take a few fans with us hopefully we can do well.
"I've come back to training and all the boys look sharp after having a few days off and they're all focused on the task ahead so if we could get a win it would brilliant.
"Wednesday have some good players and play some good football but what we have to do is go there and outbattle them and try to match whatever they have to throw at us."
