Coventry City Captain Carl Baker feels that Christmas is all about the football with the Sky Blues having so many games coming up in the next few weeks.

City travel to Swindon Town tomorrow before facing Peterborough United at Sixfields on Thursday (Boxing Day), Oldham Athletic on Sunday December 29th then two away games in South Yorkshire at Rotherham on New Year’s Day and Barnsley in the FA Cup Third Round on Saturday January 4th.

Christmas, for me, is all about the football really. There are so many games over a short amount of period so you really can't afford to rest,” Baker told Keiran Crowley.

"I think the gaffer has given us Christmas Day off which will be the first Christmas I'll have off in years. It will be nice but that doesn't mean my focus switches off for the Boxing Day match.

"We have a job to do and we have to put football before anything. We can't go on night's out or eat bad foods. We have to be really professional because I will guarantee, some other teams won't be."
