All About Technique - Gunnarsson

Coventry City midfielder Aron Gunnarsson has said that his throw-ins are a matter of technique rather than any use of brute force.

It's all down to the technique and you develop that playing handball," said the Iceman to the club website.

"I played for years and that is where it comes from. People can have arms twice the size of mine but it won't matter because it's all about the way you throw it and not how hard you throw it."

These throw ins have set up City's last two goals and Gunnarsson is hoping that he will get a chance against Queens Park Rangers.

"The gaffer sits us down obviously and we have a technical meeting about what to expect from other teams but until then we just have to concentrate on our own game.

"I said at the start of the season I just wanted to play football and so far I've started all the games the manager has made me available for so I'm happy. I just hope as the season goes on I get to play a few more."
