All Aboard The Rip Off Train?

Last updated : 07 September 2012 By TM
i am a Coventry City member but not a Season Ticket holder as my lad plays for Barnsley school boys and last season he played his matches (a couple a month) mostly on home games, only missed one away game last season (ipswich) and went to 12 home matches.

This season the fixtures have been kind to us again so hopefully get to every away game and most home matches where possible,

i paid £110 for memberships for me and the kids, hence for priority tickets as clearly stipulated on the benefits section on the club website, then while waiting patiently for 12th september the club bring out the "lets all travel together" 'offer'.

i have posted this on the CCFC Facebook wall,-- Not all fans can't get to games week in week out but still travel the length and breadth of the country supporting the City, all those fans you have taken £50 off for memberships and all those CHILDREN!!!!!! you have taken £20 off each promising them priority tickets for matches or the 6000 who have bought season tickets and you do this to them!!!!!!!

Can you explain the reasons behind this and those who are accountable for these decisions??????

Are these additional tickets to the just under 9000 we have been allocated or out of that number? Have we less than 8000 season ticket holders and members combined hence why you are doing it this way as these tickets would have been guaranteed for general sale anyway?

You could have kept this package deal in line with priority sales that way fans who are ENTITLED to tickets based on Memberships or have bought tickets for previous games potentially won't miss out,

"All aboard the rip off train for plastic fans"???!!!! Would like a genuine response as I expect all true fans do!!!!!
