Former Coventry City loanee Alex Nimely is training with Port Vale.
Nimely is now a free agent after being released by Manchester City in the summer and played for Vale's Development side in a 2-0 defeat by Wrexham on Wednesday afternoon.
The Stoke Sentinel have said that Nimely played well and it remains to be see if Robert Page offers the midfielder a contract.
