Alex Nimely Is Similar To What We Already Have - Pressley

Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that the reason he did not move for former City loanee Alex Nimely who was a free agent before joining Port Vale yesterday was that he is similar to the players that City already have.

Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Alan Poole and James Rodger at this morning's press conference, Pressely said: "Nimley is a fast, young and skilful player but I felt he was similar to a lot of our strikers - players like McQuoid and Jackson. We had too many front men and that's why the hard decision was made to let Shaun Miller available to leave."

"As a club we need to improve our scouting and we're working on it, but we need to put our resources into that because we can't afford to make mistakes in the transfer market like we have been doing.
