Akpom Plays In Arsenal Win

Coventry City loanee Chuba Akpom played the whole of Arsenal's FA Youth Cup victory against Charlton Athletic.

Arsenal, who were without the injured Coventrian Danny Crowley won 2-0 in a game at Ebbsfleet with Akpom having a 25th minute chance blocked and two early in the second half before he set up Alex Iwobi to score in the 79th minute.

Akpom, who will play for Arsenal in a  Youth League game against Shakhtar Donetsk.on Tuesday before returning to Coventry on Thursday, was on hand in the dying seconds to set up Ainsley Maitlan-Niles who rounded the keeper to give The Gunners a 2-0 victory.
