Those visiting the Ricoh Arena for the first time today for Coventry City's League One game against Gillingham, are advised of the following information:
"In line with Football League regulations at all other grounds and our ground regulations, it is illegal to drink alcohol in the stands or anywhere in view of the pitch at the Ricoh Arena.
"Anyone found drinking in the stands will be asked to stop and if they do not comply with this request will be asked to leave the stadium.
"Only alcohol purchased from kiosks at the Ricoh Arena can be consumed within the stadium concourse- and then only on the concourse itself (i.e. not in the stands). Similarly, only alcohol purchased in lounges/boxes can be drunk in those lounges/boxes."
You are also not allowed to smoke in the stands.
