Dele Adebola is set to leave Highfield Road after the news that Bradford City have offered the striker a permanent contract.

Adebola had a good pre-season but failed to feature in Peter Reid's plans after scoring four goals in 19 starts and fourteen as substitute last term. However, at Valley Parade,Adebola as expected has impressed, netting four times in fourteen games and prompting Bradford boss Colin Todd to offer a contract for the rest of the season and possibly the next.

Todd said:"We have put forward what we think is a very fair offer and it is down to the player, but he knows we want to keep him. "

City are keen to get the Nigerian, whose loan at Bradford expires in fourteen days, off the wage bill but may price out the Yorkshire club if a transfer fee is demanded.

As per Coventry City,Graham Hover denied any contact from Bradford saying: "Bradford have not been in touch yet but we are prepared to listen to what they have to say."
