Coventry City boss Micky Adams has said that he wants to end the season on a high. Speaking to the CET, Adams said: "We want to thank our fans for their support this season and finish off on a high. "I am not really worried about where we finish. The important thing is we can't finish any lower than 11th now.

"We would like to beat Cardiff just for the simple fact that it is a game of football and we want to go out of the season feeling good about ourselves. "But I think we will do that anyway because we have had a season of progression again."

"The higher we finish the higher the expectation next season because if we finish eighth we have got one to eight to aim for next season. "But the expectation level will depend on the sort of business we are able to do in the summer."
