Micky Adams is stepping up his search for a keeper with the transfer window closing tomorrow night at midnight.

The City boss who could sign a keeper as emergency cover after the deadline if anything was to happen to Andy Marshall, has had Austrian keeper Michael Gspurning from SC Superfund on trial.

Adams told the CET: "We are following up a couple of leads as far as goalkeepers are concerned. "We had an Austrian lad in and we are talking to his agent and are thinking of taking him as a possible loan until January.

"We are delighted with the form of Andy Marshall,so whether we have a little gamble on the lad we have had training with us for a week I don't yet know."

As for any other players that the City manager may want to bring in, Micky Adams would only say: "There are a couple of avenues we are going down at the moment."
