Adams Prepares

Micky Adams believes that hard work will win for the day for the Sky Bues. He told Sky Blue World: "I think what's important is that I get my ideas across to the players and I started that process last season. Really pre-season is a time for us to knuckle-down and work on certain things which we'll need to implement in games, and we'll be doing that.

"The work that we do throughout pre-season will be mainly fitness based work, there's no easy way to do it and no short-cuts that can be taken with it. I would expect the players at times to be very tired because there will be a lot of physical work done.

Adams was able to welcome back the host of players who have re-signed contracts with the Club over the summer, and said their continued commitment to the Sky Blues' cause is a massive boost heading into our first season at the Ricoh Arena.

"I'm delighted. I think everybody expected us to lose players, but they've shown that they're happy with what I'm trying to do and the football club in general.

"I know the Chairman has worked as hard as he possibly could to make sure the finances are there and available to re-sign these players. We've done that and now we need to add to the squad and we are going to do that also."
