Micky Adams spoke after City's 0-0 draw with Tranmere Rovers last night. The City boss told the CET: "The positives to come out of it were the clean sheet and I couldn't fault the boys for their effort.
"I thought we looked a little bit leggier than we did against Notts County but hopefully our last week should really sharpen them up.
"We had a physical session on Tuesday which perhaps accounted for that. Our passing was a lot better in the second half because I don't think we had any real quality in the first half, particularly in the final third of the pitch, but the majority of the squad played a part and I feel there were more positives than negatives.
City face Boavista at the Arena on Saturday night, then travel to Kidderminster Harriers on Tuesday before they take on Sunderland in the first Championship game of the season on Sunday August 6th at 1.30pm.
