Adams On Millwall

Micky Adams said after the game which saw Millwall skipper Matt Lawrence sent off for elbowing Michael Doyle: "Matt Lawrence isn't that type of player. I know that for a fact because I bought him at Fulham when he was a youngster. He is a great bloke.

"I think if the referee has a look at that I don't think he will change his mind but I have got to say I don't think it was intentional.

"I think if you counted up how many chances we had it was embarrassing. I couldn't have asked any more from my players."
