Micky Adams was pleased with the performance in last night's friendly at Kidderminster.

The City boss told the CET: "It was important that we scored a few goals in our last friendly before the big kick off and showed people that we are there or there abouts. Our passing and work was crisper, our movement was good and we scored some good goals,so we start looking forward to the start.

"After the disappointment of Saturday,I thought it was important that we had another game and everyone except Dele Adebola got ninety minutes under their belt,so it was a worthwhile exercise on the pitch."
