Speaking after the home defeat by Birmingham City, Micky Adams said: I thought we definitely deserved a point when you looked at chances created and the balance of play. "We went in at half-time 1-0 down to the only real chance they have had but I wasn't bitterly disappointed with the performance.
Adams On Defeat
"They will talk about chances in the second half but they only came when we were throwing men forward to try to get a goal back. I can't fault the commitment and I thought we were much braver on the ball in the second half which we'd asked them to be.
"Gary McSheffrey had a quiet game to be fair but I was pleased that he got a decent reception from the supporters. "But from our point of view we think we have done enough to take something from the game.
"However, we live to fight another day and I don't think this defeat has done too much damage to us in terms of the league table. "We will go to Stoke on Monday and go again. I can't promise that it will be a totally positive performance because that might come back at me if it's not."
