Adams On City Win

Micky Adams said after the win against his old club: "We're delighted to get the three points and a win.
"They all played particularly well in the first half and we really set our stall out. I don't think anybody could deny us the win really.
"The first 15 minutes was everything that we wanted. We had them on the back foot so in that respect, other than the breakaway when Healy hit the bar we restricted them to very little."
"I thought Jay was brilliant. There were a lot of clubs interested in him during the summer but for whatever reason didn't take a chance on him. He showed great ability, enthusiasm and energy - everything that we wanted really from a wide player."
