Speaking to Sky Blue World, Micky Adams said: I'm delighted, obviously. Every time we've lost a game away from home we've tended to come back and prove the critics wrong to a certain degree, and it was a decent performance.

"They adopted a style and tried to frustrate us and possibly grab three points or even a draw. At half time I tried to stress to the players that one side is trying to win it and the other is trying to mug you, so don't let them.

"I asked them to stay composed, be vigilant and make sure you defend properly when called upon, but let's keep playing our football because the goals will come.

"It's always good that you've got your senior professionals back fit and available. Richard Shaw has been rested for a while, Pagey has come back from suspension and we had a more solid look about us and you need that."
