Adams Linked With Former Club

Micky Adams has been linked with the vacant manager's job at Gillingham.

The former City player and manager started his playing career at The Gills and after coming through the ranks,he was given a professional contract in 1979 at Priestfield.

He left in 1983 to move to Highfield Road where he played for four years before moving to Leeds for a fee of £115,000.

Having been sacked as City manager back in January, he is currently the assistant manager at Colchester United and may relish a chance to manage the club he started at.
