Micky Adams faces a number of injury worries going into the game at Preston on Saturday.

The City boss who is trying to bring in an unnamed player before the weekend, has Richard Duffy with a hamstring strain,Dele Adebola with a recurrance of a groin injury, Eddy Johnson has an Achilles injury. Keeper Luke Steele also has a worry about a groin injury which nearly saw him miss the FA Cup defeat at Newcastle.

Stuart Giddings who also played in that game still has an ankle injury and Steve Staunton has a hamstring strain.

Also missing from the trip to Deepdale is Stern John who is on international duty.

Adams told the CET: "I have been really pleased with the players and how they are responding to what we are trying to do with them, but the frustrating thing is that I can't get a team together to get those ideas across on the training ground."
