Adams Casts The Net

Coventry City manager Micky Adams is over in Europe, looking at players. Adams told the CET: I am away for three days again this week. "It is the time of year when I am inundated with agents ringing up about various players.

"As far as the English scene is concerned, we know all about that generally. The one thing we don't know too much about is the foreign route.

"While I can send my coaching staff out to look at players, all they can do is come back and say 'yes' or 'no' and if they come back and say 'yes' then I have still got to go out there and look at them myself, so I would rather save on the expense and do it myself, if I can, and see what's out there.
"I have had a trip to Hungary this year and I am away somewhere else this week. "You never know until you see for yourself.

"If you listen to all the agents, they have got unbelievable world class players who want to come to play for Coventry City. "I am not looking at an specific positions, just taking in a few games.

"It is not something I particularly enjoy, travelling to meaningless games and being away from my family, but it will be worth it if we can find anyone any good."
