The next Ricoh Arena Chief Executive can expect an income of over £100k a year. Despite saying they could handle the work load following Paul Fletcher's departure to City's board, Arena Coventry Limited feel that a new person is required "to ensure the Arena acquires the reputation, profile and prominence that it deserves".

ACL Chairman Andrew Young told the CET: "We've seen the role change from developing the Ricoh Arena to one of general management and the promotion of growth of its overall business.

"The workload is such that we considered it was in our best interests to appoint a chief executive to co-ordinate the diverse range activity of the Ricoh Arena.
