In a statement to the Coventry Telegraph, Arena Coventry Limited have not ruled out the possibility of a "Sports Franchise" at the Ricoh Arena or getting Coventry City FC back.
ACL said: “In keeping with our role as an international destination for business, entertainment and sport, Arena Coventry Limited is exploring various options as part of our plans for the coming year.
"These include headline music events, sporting events and large scale conferences. However, we also have not given up hope that the Sky Blues will return to play in Coventry, at the Ricoh Arena.”
This comes following news that Preston Haskell IV was in Coventry yesterday for lunch with Joe Elliott.
