A More Positive Result For Us - Coleman

Coventry City manager Chris Coleman was the happier of the managers after City's 0-0 draw with West Brom at the Ricoh Arena this afternoon.

Speaking to the club website, the City boss said:"For us it was probably a more positive result because the Baggies were the fancied team.

"We've had the spine of the team taken away from us recently with injuries to Aron Gunnarsson, Sammy Clingan and Leon Best and now we have had to bring off Keiren Westwood in a game we knew was going to be difficult enough anyway.

"But we were very dogged and had to be patient without the ball. We kept the pace up, Clinton Morrison and Freddy Eastwood worked extremely hard without the ball and the defense did very well as well.

"Dimi Konstantopoulos came on and did extremely well for us as well. We kept a clean sheet which was positive because we have not kept enough of those recently so the result was encouraging."
