A Minute's Applause For Lesley

Last updated : 11 September 2014 By RW

The Ricoh Arena will host a massive charity event this Saturday in memory of a Coventry mother of three who died of cancer aged 40 last October.

The day was supposted to host ex 1987 Coventry City players and other ex pro's in a football competion but the Ricoh return has put this back to a later date.

The event function will.still.go.ahead as planned with music acts taking centre stage in the Eon lounge and lots of former City players will be coming.to support the event.which is called REMEMBERINGLESLEY.

This is where we hope all you Sky Blues and Yeovil Town fans can help us.

We would love a minutes applause during the.game to remember this special Coventry mum who loved sport and represented GB as a 400m runner and we want all the supporters to support a minute's applause in the 40th minute of the game as this is the early age that Lesley left.us at.

Please can you support us with this at the game on.Saturday.
