A Letter To The Football League

Last updated : 19 May 2013 By Neil Bloxham

Dear Football League

I am writing as a life long football fan in complete desperation on who to turn to with regard to my beloved Coventry City Football Club, where I am slowly watching it diminish before my very eyes, and its hurting.

I am asking for your help, as a glimmer of hope, that soon I will wake up and find this was all a horrible dream and that this tremendous football club, with fantastic history and family generations are left in tact and those family stories of years gone by can still maintain that path for years to come.

I am sure you are well aware of our situation, where we are being obliterated by a cold and heartless organisation that is not only trying to tear the heart out of the club but also irradiate those tearful memories every fan holds so dearly, of those times we spent with our parents, grandparents and great grandparents.

We all know how those great football memories bear the brunt of many family conversations around the table and I am asking you as one of those who holds such fond memories to please save our history and help us continue maintain the future of this club that will one day be a nice memory to have....

Please help,
Thank you....
